RQC Supply: An eCommerce Success Story
The best ideas sometimes present themselves in strange ways. RQC Supply started as Flower Power Babies, an online store selling baby boutique items, accessories, and toys. The family behind it
accidentally sold off the ribbon they used to create their popular mitten and soother clips. Through the sale, though, they made more than enough from these sales to pay for a four-person trip to Florida for a surprise 80th birthday party. This was their epiphany, and when they came back, the family sat down and rethought their small business plans.
Flower Power Babies became Ribbon Queen Canada, which SlyFox helped rebrand to their current name, RQC Supply! Through all of these changes, the family stayed true to their small business roots: providing quality crafting supplies and products. They sell Orafol vinyl, Siser Heat Transfer and Pressure Sensitive Vinyl, stencils, blank apparel and fabric, faux leather, and so much more. Of course, you’ll still find a wide variety of ribbons, just like their name suggests!
They continuously expand their store and add cutting-edge craft supplies all the time, meaning the “What’s New” section of the site is always changing. You can even stay up-to-date through an RSS feed! This commitment to new technology and ideas has made RQC Supply a great company to design a website for and a favourite of customers across the country.
